Skinsational By Kara is a comprehensive treatment clinic specializing in acne treatment solutions and skin rejuvenation without the use of prescription medications. Our Acne Treatment Program has proven highly successful with a clearing rate reaching into the 95% range. On average, clients devoted to the acne program have their acne under control, and are significantly to completely clear within 12 to 16 weeks. Often times, results are achieved as soon as 8 to 10 weeks with noticeable improvement after one to two acne treatments.

How the Acne Program Works:

Our Acne Treatment Program uses a comprehensive approach to treat acne and restore healthy skin. We combine the power of biweekly acne treatments with professional acne care products, and the guidance and expertise of an Acne Skincare Specialist. All treatment and product selection is determined on an individual basis. What works for one person may not work for the other. For this reason, we keep a watchful eye on how your skin responds - making modifications to your treatment plan as needed. As your acne lesions begin to heal, we will continue making modifications to encourage the repairing and rebuilding process. Once your acne is under control, you will need to maintain your daily skincare regimen to keep your acne at bay.

Some patients display acne patterns and symptoms that are indicative of an underlying health problem such as food, gluten and chemical intolerance; nutritional deficiencies, toxicity, adrenal fatigue, digestive disorders, and hormonal imbalances. By taking a functional approach to treatment, At Skinsational By Kara we provide guidance in treating your acne from the inside out. If necessary, recommendations for alternative treatment will be provided.

Types of Acne We Treat:

We treat grades 1-4 acne vulgaris, which includes mild to severe cases of non-inflamed acne, inflamed acne, and cystic acne. While the demand for treating teenage acne is a tall order, the many of our patients have adult and menopausal acne. What works for one person may not work for the other. For this reason, all in-office treatments and daily skincare regimens are determined on an individual basis. As your skin's health improves, your acne treatments and skincare regimen will continually be adjusted to facilitate the acne clearing process.

Types of Acne Treatments:

Chemical peels, enzyme treatments, oxygen treatments, microdermabrasion, LED, or a combination of modalities depending on the condition of your skin.

Who Is a Candidate:

The Acne Treatment Program requires patience, commitment and compliance. Acne treatments are required every two weeks and are scheduled in advance to ensure you stay on track. Your skincare protocol consists of numerous steps both morning and night. Most people who start the acne program have sought help for acne down every avenue and want clear skin so badly that they are willing to do what ever it takes to have healthy, clear, acne-free skin. This includes the demands of a program and a methodical skincare regimen. For those who are committed, clear skin is just a few short month away!
